Introducing our poet, Taryn Schlebusch
Taryn, like some of her family before her, is a very talented poet, and we are privileged to have her as part of our True North House team. She is a mother of 4 young boys, and is an art teacher at a local Montessouri School in East London, South Africa, where she currently resides.
She has often turned to poetry to find solace during difficult times in her life. She suffered from post natal depression, and it was then that she wrote some of her most inspired work. Some of this has been captured in the True North House publication “Lost in Light”, which was released earlier this year, to coincide with the first anniversary of the passing of the much loved actor, Robin Williams, in August. This book reflects both the Dark and the Light times in her life, as she shares her journey to healing with the reader.
